Quick answer: Go to the Cloud2Y login page, click Forgot Password?, enter your account email, and open the reset link to set a new password. This changes only your Client Area password — your server's OS password is separate.

Overview

Password resets are self-service via email. It's important to know the difference between your Client Area (billing portal) password and your server (root/Administrator) password.

Before you start

  • Access to the email address on your Cloud2Y account.
  • The login page at cloud2y.com.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to the login page and click Forgot Password?.
  2. Enter your account email address.
  3. Open the reset link sent to your email.
  4. Set a new, strong password and log in.

Common issues

  • No reset email? Check spam, confirm the account email, and wait a few minutes.
  • Link expired? Request a new reset — links are time-limited.
  • Trying to change the server password? That's separate — use the service's Change Password action or the KVM console.

When to contact support

If you no longer have access to your account email, open a support ticket — changing the account email requires identity verification.

Frequently asked questions

I do not have access to my account email — what now?

Open a support ticket or email [email protected] — after identity verification our team can change the account email and restore full access to your Client Area.

Does resetting this change my server password too?

No. Resetting the Client Area password only affects the billing portal login. Your server's operating-system password for SSH or RDP stays unchanged and is managed separately.
